Today was a very good day! First, David Estok, VP of the Sickkids Foundation came to guest lecture and was a huge hit with the students. He really brought to life for them the relationship between the news industry and the PR business. It was most enlightening and engaging. Joey Coleman attended as well.
Afterward, David Estok, Terry Flynn and I went to the Phoenix to sign the contract from Oxford University Press to write the book on public relations in Canada. This will be the first book of its kind, comprehensively surveying the field of public relations in Canada: building a new theory based on case studies and empirical research. Very exciting. Watch for updates on the book as it progresses!
