Terry Fallis reads from his new book, The High Road, and donates his archives to McMaster University

I just got back from a book signing event featuring noted Canadian public relations professional and political satirist, Terry Fallis, who read from his new book, The High Road, which is the sequel to The Best Laid Plans.

The event was co-hosted by McMaster Chief Librarian, Jeff Trzeciak and Mark Lefebvre, from Titles, McMaster University’s bookstore. Jeff also announced that Terry, a proud McMaster alumnus, has donated his personal archives to the university. Terry read expressively from his new book and everyone had a good laugh at his clever descriptions and apt characterizations of typical characters – volunteers and politicos – from the Canadian political scene. Afterward, he signed books and chatted extensively with the audience. It was a warm event and a chance to reconnect for many old friends: veterans of the Canadian political scene as well as enthusiasts of Terry’s writing. A good afternoon was had by all. Terry Fallis’ archives will be made available to researchers before Christmas.
